We recognise and value the importance of home and school working together and developing this vital partnership. We have an effective ‘Home School Agreement’  with parents and children that centres on the needs of all three parties resulting in a proper sense of shared ownership.

Parents are invited into school for events such as class assemblies, music and drama performances and Open Mornings. On occasion, we also invite you to join us at lunchtime to have lunch with your child and experience the games and social activities in the outdoor areas.

You are also most welcome as parents to volunteer to work in school on a regular basis.  This helps you to gain an insight into school life. We often contact parents to request help with school trips and other activities.  If you have specific skills and talents which you feel could be of value to the school, please let us know.

Parent Consultation Meetings are held each term.  These are by appointment and will provide an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with the class teacher.  We also hold information evenings for parents about curriculum matters or other topics related to your child’s education.

Parents are welcome to contact the school at any time regarding any concerns or queries about your child at school. Class teachers can be contacted via the school office
