Rotary Shoebox Appeal

To be in school by Tuesday 6th November latest.

For disadvantaged children in Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Romania.  Choosing for either a boy or a girl, please fill a shoebox with small gifts such as toiletries, felt-tip pens, colouring/drawing books, jigsaws etc and maybe even include a Christmas card too.  Boxes should be wrapped with festive paper, and secured with a rubber band.  A £1 donation should also be taped to the top of the box to help with shipping costs.  Please help make somebody’s Christmas a little more special by participating in this worthwhile cause.

Year 5/6 Evacuation Day

Monday 15th October 2018

We are very excited that in order to end our WWII ‘Lest We Forget’ topic, we will be holding an Evacuation Day.  The idea is to help our Year 5 and 6 children experience what life would have been like for a child being evacuated during the war.  They will be taking part in a range of activities and we are inviting them to wear plain clothes for the day.  They will also need to wear their name tags.  Please come along on Monday morning to ‘wave your children off’ from the school playground.  We hope they will all have a fun day!
